Job Description - Leader-In-Training (LIT) (11th - 12th grades)


LITs reach a new level of leadership with the campers as you help with specific activities. You still have your own cabin, adult leaders, and D group. You will also have specific assignments throughout the day and learn even more about how camp runs. 11th and 12th grade LITs may be invited to be a peer leader in the high school camp.

A person who:

  • is a rising 11th or 12th grader
  • is committed to growing in their walk with Jesus
  • has served one year on Flight Crew or served on a Dynamos team

They will:

  • be an assistant in an area of camp (cabin, activity, program, or other) under an adult mentor
  • provide a leadership role in the area they are assigned
  • remain with their area except for any assigned time off
  • have an assistant leadership role in the camper discipleship program
  • report to their assigned mentor with any questions or problems
